Your Invitation to Join Owosso Musicale for 2016-17
Dear Music Lover,
Autumn approaches, and it is time to think musically and the beginning of the 80th season of Owosso Musicale! This will be a year-long celebration with special programs, people and fellowship. Time to celebrate eighty years of music, service and mentoring musicians in Shiawassee County….and a century for the National Music Federation!
As we enjoy the celebration within our club, we want to invite and involve as many people as possible! Please join us for our wonderful programs, and feel free to bring a friend. It would be wonderful to no longer be the ‘best kept secret in Shiawassee County’.
This year’s program will focus on different aspects of the arts and Owosso’s music outreach over the years. Our season starts on Monday, October 10th at Christ Episcopal church at noon with Samantha Gowen from MSU playing French Horn after a special Presidents’ Tea as we begin our year-long celebration of the 80 years since Owosso Musicale was founded .

We appreciate the special effort of our program committee to make this year a showcase of the musical talent of Shiawassee County and OM award winners. We appreciate all our volunteers!
New this year is a corps of volunteers who wish to let all know that they are available to share a ride to OM meetings or Chorus practices. This is just another way this warm-hearted group embraces our fellowship of music. Our volunteers are listed in our program booklet.
Also new, are Owosso Musicale co-presidents for the 2016-17 program year, Donna Benson and Sue Henry. Planning to work closely together, either Donna (989.723.4216) or Sue (989.725.8224) are glad to discuss any of your concerns or questions.
Hope to see you on October 10th or any other of our programs or concerts! Donna Benson and Sue Henry, Owosso Musicale Co-presidents
