Katherine Nold, NCTM, spends no two day alike! 
Studying church music from the International Academy of Music, she is additionally certified in piano pedagogy through Music Teachers National Association.  Katherine began studying the pipe organ with teachers Leslie Wills and Doris Hall and was top recipient of the American Guild of Organists-Detroit Chapter scholarship awards for three consecutive years.  she has performed as a guest soloist with Orion Chamber Music Society, and is a sought-after accompanist in both public and private school districts.  Katherine is the organist for peace Lutheran Church of Waterford, accompanist for Detroit Country Day School, private piano teacher and MFMC Festival Chair.

Rebekah Nold, a rising solo violinist and orchestra musician, performs frequently in Oakland county.  a student of Detroit Symphony Orchestra musician Gregory Staples, she is Principal 2nd violinist in the Oakland Youth Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the Orion Chamber Music Society.  In 2014 Rebekah won the Orion Chamber Music Society solo concerto competition and was awarded the 2016 Merit Scholarship for Exceptional Students from Oakland Youth Symphony. Rebekah is guest violinist for King of Kings Lutheran Church in Lake Orion and Peace Lutheran Church of Waterford.

 Month with chanteuse, Kerry Price

                     

Kerry Price was born into a musical family and has been playing the piano since age 4.  Armed with a master's degree in music from the University of  Michigan.  Price went on to teach, perform and record the music she loves.

"Most of my life now is playing early standards from the 1890's ragtime era up to about 1940," said Price, who performs locally at such diverse venues as The Dakota Inn in Detroit and the Mahany/Meringe Senior Community Center in Royal Oak.  "Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, George M. Cohan, Broadway and the music people know is what I play.  

This diverse musician is director of music at Pilgrim Congregational Church in Bloomfield, and appears as a solo performer and leader of  her own jazz band, "Kerry and Friends," for the Greater Detroit Jazz Society.

PINE RIVER LEGACY is a Dulcimer & String Acoustic Band consisting of a group of friends from Port Huron & surrounding areas brought together by a love of historic & traditional music.

It was started by Ron Borowski through weekly jams in friends homes and special historic events.

Instruments include: Hammered Dulcimers, Guitars, Fiddles, Mandolin, Stand-up bass, Cahon, Gut Bucket, Autoharp, Penny Whistle, and sometimes Harp
